Optimal Thickness of Double-Layer Graphene-Polymer Absorber for 5G High-Frequency Bands

چکیده
A new analytical approach to optimize the thicknesses of a two-layer absorbing structure constituted by graphene-based composite and polymer dielectric spacer backed metallic layer acting as perfect electric conductor (PEC) is proposed. The lossy sheet made an epoxy-based vinyl ester resin filled with graphene nanoplatelets (GNPs) characterized known frequency spectra complex permittivity. optimal are computed at target frequencies 26, 28, 39 GHz in order obtain –10 dB bandwidth able cover 5G bands between 23.8 40 GHz. resulting structures, having total thickness lower than 1 mm, excited transverse magnetic (TM) or (TE) polarized plane waves absorption performances high range.
